If you have a goat in the
top 5 placings & are
having trouble completing their registration paperwork by the November 22nd deadline, you MUST contact JLGA Show Secretary Cynthia Hailey no later than Wednesday November 19th.
Registration papers MUST have
been submitted to their appropriate
breed registry prior to this notice.
You MUST be able to
provide complete information on the goat(s)
in question & also JLGA Show Secretary must be able to verify paperwork is at registry & that registration papers WILL be issued. This verification must be done prior to the November 22nd deadline. After JLGA Show Secretary has obtained all the needed information & confirmed that papers are at the registry & will be issued, a email will be sent to exhibitors parents confirming status of papers. This email must be printed out & brought with you to the November 22nd show.

JUST A REMINDER TO JLGA MEMBERS
COUNTING "END OF YEAR" POINTS.
YOU MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING
REQUIREMENTS:
FOR SHOWMANSHIP &
MARKET "END OF YEAR" AWARDS
Must attend &
participate in a minimum of 3
different JLGA shows in these classes.
FOR
ALL BREEDING CLASSES "END OF YEAR"
AWARDS
Must attend
& participate in a minimum of 3
different JLGA show in their appropriate
classes.
Goats must be registered in the name
of the youth that is exhibiting that
goat.
All breeding goat papers must be
completed by November 22, 2008
No pending registration or transfer papers.
No goat will be awarded "End of
Year" awards with pending papers.
Show Secretary must have a copy of
completed registration papers.

**PLEASE NOTE**
We completely understand that sometimes
problems arise with registration papers that
delays the process & accordingly we have
been very lenient on this matter. However, completed hard copy registration
papers in the name of the youth
showing the goat in the 2008 JLGA Show Season
must be presented to the JGLA Show
Secretary to be copied &
verified no later than November 22,
2008 by start of the JLGA show. Notices regarding this matter will go
out via email & postal mail the
week of November 11, 2008. After these notices have been sent
out, no further notices will be sent.
In the event that the completed hard
copy registration papers are not presented
to the JLGA Show Secretary to be copied by
November 22, 2008 by the start of
the JLGA Show that day. Then on November 23, 2008 those goats
will be removed from the points table
& will be non-eligible to compete for JLGA "End
of Year" awards.

year, we will be dropping the 2 lowest scores as follows:
showmanship - 2 lowest show scores
per youth
market - 2 lowest show scores
breeding classes - 2 lowest scores
per each goat
each show not attended counts as a 0

of this year's show season due to
the fact that we are dropping
2 lowest scores this year, the
point standings will start to reflect
this. Lowest scores will be blacked out.
Also please remember that you must attend a minimum of 3 shows
in order to count points for "End of Year" awards.

JLGA Members must participate a minimum of 3 shows in
Showmanship & market , & breeding
goats must been shown in a minimum of 3 shows.

Indicates Goats that need to be Bayou Certified in order to continue competing for Bayou Certified Awards
All JLGA members & their family are invited to attend the "End of Year" Banquet regardless of number of show attended.
